We’ve started a podcast…

…and it’s not about travel.

If you’re not following me on social media (@celsdonblog) then you might’ve missed the news. Myself and my close friends, Luke and Ross, have started a podcast called Mind The Gaffes. It’s a completely different audience to what this blog is about, but I thought if even 1% of you would listen that is a win.

What’s the name about?

Been to London? Or anywhere in the UK for that matter? Mind the gap is the slogan you’ll become accustomed to when you’re on a getting onto a train but the gap is large enough that passengers could fall through. As three Brits, that slogan is intrinsically tied with our country while the use of it is designed to be a play on words. We’re going to make many mistakes and gaffes throughout our podcast shows that the name just works. It’s irrelevant, infectious and the show will be full of mistakes throughout.

What is the podcast about?

Each episode will focus on different topics often relating to life in the UK, current affairs or even any topics we feel are being under discussed in the general media landscape. In Episode 1, we covered:

  • How not to pour a pint

  • Netflix's bad business strategy with movies

  • James Corden sucks

  • Hugh Grant is misunderstood

  • Top 3 UK political issues

  • Complaining about Daily Mail

  • Gary Lineker and the BBC debacle

  • Callum getting ripped at the gym

Yes it’s quite varied and we cover a lot of ground, but it’s fun and not meant to be serious.

How can I watch and listen?

We’ve created the show as a visual podcast so that it can be consumed across YouTube, social video platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts etc.). We get that a two-hour podcast is a long time, so we’re publishing both our full length onto YouTube and podcast services as well as bitesized clips on YouTube. Take a look below:
