Trip Report Series: An American Adventure - with a conference and work thrown in

Following a few months hiatus, I’m back with a long-haul trip report series with epic proportions. Driven by a need to be at the NAB Conference and Exhibition for the broadcast and media sector in Las Vegas as part of my full-time role, I managed to construct a trip that could serve both my work needs as well as delivering great blog content. This is my first trip to the US since February 2019, when I visited New York, and the first time I had ever visited the West Coast of the US. At the time of my trip, I was extremely worried about catching Covid-19 due to the pre-departure antigen tests still being required - and having my wedding just the weekend before being a recipe for super spreading. Thankfully, that policy has now been rescinded and thankfully I had tested negative before my visit. Here’s a look at what there is to expect over the next few months (yes, months!).
